We the people of STNL (the Foundation for Co-operative Trauma Assistance Netherlands) think you heard about the crash of the airplane of Malaysian Airlines (flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur) above Eastern Ukrain last Thursday, July 17.

Our country is in deep shock and mourning.

The number of victims is 298, of which 193 are Dutch countrymen.

Probably they are also war victims.

We ask you for your compassionate thoughts, prayers and meditations.

Let peace prevail on earth. Yes, but often it is a long hard way transcending despair.
